Pesto
Ingredients
Half a bunch of fresh basil
Half (50grms) a packet of
pine kernels
2 cloves of garlic
6 tblsps of extra virgin olive oil
1 tblsp of lemon juice
Pepper and salt to taste
Method
Place
all the ingredients in a food processor, or blender, and mix to a paste.
Cover
and keep in the fridge.
There should be enough for 2 or 3 servings.
Mix
into the pasta, of your choice, with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve
with salad leaves and the following dressing
Honey
and Mustard Dressing Ingredients
2 tblsps of honey
2 tblsps of
whole grain mustard
Lots of freshly ground black pepper and sea salt
1
tblsp of raspberry vinegar
6 tblsps of extra virgin olive oil
Honey
and Mustard Dressing Method
Place all the ingredients in a jar.
Screw the lid on tightly and give a good shake.
Keep refrigerated.
